Remember one thing about any bank holding webinars about their short selling process – THEY ARE NOT YOUR CLIENT! While B of A’s webinars are helpful and reviews their process and use of Equator.com still be cautious. I have heard real estate agents make comments like “the bank said in their webinar they would not allow seller concessions”. If we buy into this and push that out to the public we are not doing our clients justice. Our job is to push hard for the best acceptable terms for the sale that the bank will accept. In an instance like this, explained properly and any bank at any given time will consider paying seller concessions no matter what public statement they have made to the contrary.
